In our part of the country, we are known since 1976 for water treatment, pumps of all kinds, wells and plumbing.
Our journey: Exceptional plumbers since 1976
We are located in the Lanaudière and Laurentian regions, more precisely in Saint-Donat and Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts.
Here is the short story of our great Groupe H2O. It’s a story of experienced plumbers, not ordinary at all!
Our story begins with Alain Ayotte
In 1976, Alain founded the Centre de pompe à l’eau, a pump sales and repair business that later became the Centre de pompe St-Donat. Throughout his career, Alain has been a forerunner in the use of various technologies, now widespread throughout Quebec.
Now retired, his advisory role is always appreciated! His extensive experience and knowledge make him a valuable asset to all members of our team.
And so it went on...
Alain Ayotte registers the company Centre de pompe à l’eau. The company will later be incorporated as Centre de pompe St-Donat.
A first son joins the business: Alexandre Ayotte begins working with his father.
A second son joins the business: Frédéric Ayotte begins working with his father.
Alexandre studies Mechanical Engineering Technology.
Frédéric studies Robotics Technology.
Frédéric begins university studies in Accounting.
Oops! Alexandre returns to college to study Water Treatment. Alexandre Ayotte and Joël Renaud meet while attending school.
Frédéric, Alexandre and Joël become shareholders of the Pump Center. They open H2O Technologies in Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts.
The Pump Center and H2O Technologies become Groupe H2O. The group offers commercial and industrial plumbing services in Montreal.
Groupe H2O moves into new facilities in Saint-Donat.
Groupe H2O acquires Le Saux Plomberie in Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts.
Alain Ayotte retires after more than 40 years of service.
Groupe H2O reaches a turning point.
Frédéric continues plumbing operations in Montreal and launches Plomberie H2O Mtl.
Alexandre and Joël continue operating Groupe H2O, focusing on pumps, wells and water treatment.
Groupe H2O opens a new branch in Tremblant, located on St-Jovite Street.
