Water softener and calcite filter system. This system reduces iron, manganese and corrosion. In our softeners, we use cationic resin from Aldex, either C-800 or C-800F, depending on the application. The calcite filter increases pH, alkalinity and hardness to reduce corrosion and the effect of soft water. The budget for this type of system is $5435 plus tx. Price may vary according to mineral concentration, resin type and required throughput.
