UV disinfection system to kill bacteria and coliforms in water

A UV disinfection system contains a lamp that emits ultraviolet (UV) light. UV rays disinfect the water without any chemicals. They penetrate the cells of a micro-organism and react with its vital components. Bacteria and other coliforms, viruses, and parasites become harmless. We stock Viqua models VH410, VP600, VH410-F20, the new Arros-9 and Arros-15 systems and Pro models. Viqua VH models are conventional systems, with the lamp and quartz sleeve in two separate parts. The Arros models have taken up the idea of the lamp and sleeve in one piece, which facilitates maintenance and ensures that the clarity of the sleeve is impeccable. The Pro model is a much more sophisticated model that continuously records the UV dose emitted by the device.

– The budget for a VH system and installation is $2220 plus tx.

– The budget for an Arros system and installation is $2585 plus tx.

– The budget for a Pro system and installation is $5055 plus tx.

Two-compartment water softener system. This system reduces iron, manganese, sulfur and hardness in the water. The two-compartment system allows two different filter media to be placed in the same cylinder. The advantage is that the media don’t mix and we can determine the filtration sequence. For sulfur reduction we use KDF85, for the reduction of other minerals we use Aldex C-800F resin. The budget for this type of system is $4720 plus tx. Price may vary according to mineral concentration, system capacity required and system composition.

If the softener is used only to reduce hardness, we’ll opt for partial water softening, adding a small device called the V4099 to mix soft and hard water.
